Sean R. DeGrilla, M.S., is a seventeen-year veteran of law enforcement and earned a B.A. in American History from Columbia College and an M.S. from Columbia Southern University. His first book, Malcontent: Lee Harvey Oswald's Confession by Conduct, contains the unprecendented Computer Voice Stress Analysis of Lee Harvey Oswald. This work received the 2021 National Association of Computer Voice Stress Analysis (NACVSA) Professor James L. Chapman Award of Excellence for its innovative posthumous application of the CVSA.

His second book, Communistic Tendencies: The Writings and Beliefs of Lee Harvey Oswald, examines Oswald through his surviving writings and personal records. The research also incorporates modern document examination methods, including oblique lighting, infrared imaging, indented writing analysis, and three-dimensional surface scanning.

DeGrilla is currently writing his third volume on Oswald, Oswald's Library: The Literature That Forged His Ideology, a study of the books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines, and political literature that helped shape Oswald's worldview.

The Oswald Archive brings this research together in one platform, documenting original findings, archival material, forensic examinations, and continuing investigations into Lee Harvey Oswald, the evidence surrounding him, and the larger historical record.
